Better Energy Homes
This is a grant scheme, not the free Warmer Homes Scheme. Homeowners and landlords of dwellings built before 2006 can apply.
This is not the free scheme. If you're on a qualifying social welfare payment and you own your home, start with Better Energy Warmer Homes instead. There's no cost on that scheme.
Better Energy Homes is SEAI's grant programme for energy upgrades. It can cover attic and cavity wall insulation, among other measures. Landlords and people who own more than one property can apply, with a separate application for each home.
Grant amounts are set by SEAI and they change. We won't quote a figure here that could go stale. Get in touch and we'll talk you through the current support and whether this scheme or Warmer Homes is the right fit.
There's no consultation fee to speak to us about this, and we don't take payment online for it.
