The Process

From your first enquiry to a warmer home, here's exactly what happens and what we need from you.

  1. Get in touch

    Call, email, or fill in our form. We'll check you meet the criteria.

  2. We send your application form

    Complete it and get it signed and stamped by your local Department of Social Protection office.

  3. Return your documents

    Send the signed form plus proof of home ownership back to us, by post or email.

  4. We submit to SEAI

    We process and submit your application on your behalf.

  5. Home survey

    SEAI arranges a survey to confirm what work your home qualifies for.

  6. Work is scheduled and completed

    Once approved, we schedule the installation. This is free of charge at every stage.

  • Signed, stamped application form (homeowner and Dept. of Social Protection)
  • Proof of home ownership: house insurance, deeds, mortgage statement, or Local Property Tax letter with a utility bill
  • Carer’s Allowance applicants only: a completed Carer’s Allowance Certification form
